Is she coming now ?: Hamburg Senate is examining exit restrictions – and other measures
Politicians no longer have much leeway to stop the third corona wave. According to MOPO information, the Hamburg Senate is now examining whether exit restrictions can be imposed.
Hamburg’s Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) had pleaded on Sunday for a consistent implementation of the applicable tiered regulation. “The sooner this is done, the better it is for everyone,” he said.
Hamburg Senate is examining exit restrictions
Now the Senate is checking after MOPO information whether an exit restriction can be imposed for Hamburg. If this measure is initiated, it will probably only apply from the weekend.
A test obligation for companies and a readjustment on the subject of schools are also being examined. A school closure should not be planned for the time being. Hairdressers should remain open. Stricter contact restrictions are probably not considered.
Hamburg incidence continues to rise
The seven-day incidence in Hamburg was 152.1 on Monday. For comparison: the previous high for the entire pandemic was 179.6 in the city at Christmas 2020.

A new corona regulation has already been in force since Monday. There are rather small changes to be found, such as the mask requirement in cars when several households are traveling together. The federal and state governments recently decided that regions with an incidence of more than 100 may impose further measures such as exit restrictions or tighten contact restrictions. (gt / abu).
