Because of the corona warning: Hamburg’s mayor is in quarantine

Hamburg’s Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) has voluntarily isolated himself at home. As the spokesman for the Senate, Marcel Schweitzer, announced, the reason for this is a warning in the Corona app.

Justice Senator Anna Gallina (Greens) and State Councilor Almut Möller (SPD) are also in isolation. “You are currently working in your home office and will have a PCR test carried out next Wednesday,” says Schweitzer.

The warning is apparently related to the last meeting of the Federal Council. Afterwards, numerous people present in the plenary chamber received a warning via the app.
